Get to know my journey, skills, and what drives me
I am a graduate student and researcher with a passion for educational innovation and the evolving landscape of how we deliver instruction and absorb its information. I am committed to advancing equal access and opportunity in education for all students.
My journey began during my undergraduate education coursework at the esteemed University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I completed a student teaching internship that gave me hands-on experience navigating the full scope of an elementary school environment. That experience sparked a deeper focus on instructional design and having a bigger impact, not just educating students, but contributing to the communities they learn in.
Currently, I am developing instructional modules and curricula while exploring the role of UX/UI design in creating effective educational experiences. I am particularly drawn to elementary education, which I believe serves as the foundation for all future learning. I welcome collaboration with others who share a commitment to intentional, impactful education.
Outside of work and academics, you can find me at the pool table or exploring great restaurants. I am always seeking new challenges and opportunities to grow.
